ANNIVERSARY OVERLOAD

It is now confirmed that the Pioneer Group will concentrate its efforts in commemorating the 100^th anniversary of powered flight in the issue nearest the anniversary, namely December, so although this issue is again light in that sector, watch out for December. To continue the Anniversary theme, they come thick and fast. Peter Marson contributes to What Do You Know with some issues around early Constellations (60 years since first flight), Leonardo Pinzauti co-operates in marking the ascent of Everest 50^th anniversary with a look at the Himalayas on Nepalese cards and there is a look at a type which will in continuous production for 50% of the time span of powered flight.
